DUTCH AMBASSADOR DIMS FURTHER BULGARIA’S SCHENGEN HOPES

September 20, 2011 1 comment

Karel van Kesteren, Dutch Ambassador to Bulgaria, confirmed Monday his country’s position and intentions to block Bulgaria’s joining of the Schengen zone.

After a meeting with the candidates for president and vice president from the ruling Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria, GERB, party, Rosen Plevneliev, and Margarita Popova, the diplomat reiterated the Netherlands government would not agree on lifting border control on the grounds of the conclusions of the European Commission’s July report under the monitoring and verification mechanism in the area of justice and home affairs.

The Ambassador, however, stressed the issue with Bulgaria’s Schengen membership should not, in any way, be tied with the upcoming local and presidential elections on October 23.

“This is an assessment of Bulgaria, not only of the current cabinet, but of the previous one and the work of the Parliament. It would be wrong to say during the election campaign – this is your fault. It would be especially wrong regarding Margarita Popova, who in her capacity as Justice Minister applied significant effort. The Schengen issue should not become an election campaign issue,” Karel van Kesteren pointed out.

The diplomat’s words came in contradiction with Plevneliev’s statement that during the meeting Karel van Kesteren had said that the decision of the Dutch cabinet to veto the country’s Schengen membership is grounded in the actions of the previous Bulgarian cabinet, not the GERB one.

On Saturday, Foreign Minister Nikolay Mladenov announced in Sofia that Bulgaria will reconsider its support for the reforms of the Schengen Agreement if it decides it is getting unfair treatment over its application for the visa-free area.

The reaction of the Bulgarian government came after Friday night the Dutch government decided that the Netherlands will veto Bulgaria and Romania’s accession to the Schengen Area at the meeting of the Council of the European Union on September 22, 2011.

On Sunday, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister, Tsvetan Tsvetanov, voiced hope that on September 22, 2011, the Council of the EU Interior Ministers will make a favorable for Bulgaria decision on its joining of the Schengen zone and the Netherlands’ opinion about Bulgaria will be ignored by the other EU Member States

The Dutch Ambassador stressed Monday that the Bulgarian government has achieved a lot, but not enough. He declined commenting on Tsvetanov’s words.

“Turkish Yoke” in Kabul…

The term “Turkish Yoke” stirred controversy between Bulgarian and Turkish servicemen from the NATO mission in Afghanistan.
Major Daniela Blagoeva, reportedly made a presentation dedicated to Bulgaria’s Liberaton Day, which had been deemed offensive by Turkish army officers. Blagoeva had posted the presentation on the ISAF intranet in Kabul with text talking about the Turkish Yoke instead of the politically correct Ottoman Rule.
The Bulgarian Chief of Staff in Afghanistan had already apologized to his Turkish counterpart for the wrong use of terms.
The Bulgarian Defense Ministry informs the presentation had not been assigned to Blagoeva. The material has been deleted and the Turkish side expressed satisfaction over the swift reaction.
Blagoeva has not been punished and will continue to serve in Kabul until the new contingent arrives. Novinite

I suppose our Turkish friends also would like a rename and rewrite of ‘Under The Yoke’ by Ivan Vazov written in 1888 to ‘Ottoman Tourism’. It depicts the Ottoman oppression of Bulgaria and is the most famous piece of classic Bulgarian literature. Under the Yoke has been translated into more than 30 languages.
The Turkish military and leadership should apologise to Bulgaria until the end of time for 500 years of forced mass conversions and murders. This is like the Dutch referring to the mass killings in Indonesia as cultural exchanges, the German occupations in WWII as fatherly advise or the Americans in Vietnam and Korea as exporting Barbeque technology.
The Turks have well shown in the last century that there is no difference between Ottoman and Turkish. The genocide of 1.5 million Armenians starting in 1915 was done by Turkish troops. History will also not be kind to Turkey in regards to their treatment of the Kurds.
I think that Major Daniela Blagoeva deserves a medal!!!

ISLAM does not exist according to Google suggestions…

January 10, 2010 1 comment

Are you confused about what Islam is? Don’t worry Google’s suggestion program doesn’t know either.

If you type, “Buddhism is” or “Christianity is,” Google shows you suggestions for what it thinks you might be trying to type. In the case of Buddhism, Google guesses “not a religion,” “wrong,” “not what you think.” Christianity gets an amazingly harsh treatment with the suggestions “bullshit” and “not a religion.”

But with the query “Islam is”? Google can’t come up with one suggestion.

It is obvious that Google is censoring itself, perhaps because of fear of repercussion by our tea-towel wearing friends behind beards and veils.

Needless to say, Google hides behind ‘a software problem’ and “they are working on it”. Yeah right…

This is another proof that it is time to look beyond Google for true searches.

Islam is: intolerant, violent, sexist, murderous, ignorant, dishonest, trying to take over the world, and well explained in Fitna the Move: http://www.themoviefitna.com/?page_id=47

Australian Prime Minister about Muslim Sharia Law.

December 29, 2009 28 comments

This man should be appointed King of the World. Truer words have never been spoken.

It took a lot of courage for this man to speak what he had to say for the world to hear. The retribution could be phenomenal, but at least he was willing to take a stand on his and Australia’s beliefs.

The Whole World Needs A Leader Like This!

Prime Minister Kevin Rudd – Australia

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

Separately, Rudd angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation’s mosques. Quote: ‘IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians. ‘

‘This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom’

‘We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society . Learn the language!’

‘Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.’

‘We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.’

‘This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, ‘THE RIGHT TO LEAVE’.’

‘If you aren’t happy here then LEAVE. We didn’t force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.’
